(Huntsville, AL) On April 15-16, 2011, America's HBCU-RM event showcased a variety of professional sports, & entertainment guest speakers that have addressed subjects such as financial counseling, market and brand image, own your own company, strength conditioning development, ettitquete, your attitude and the media. The program's mission was to assist and educate our HBCU Athletes and future business moguls to become entrepreneurs on how to take control of their own destiny, with no excuses. Always take value opportunities, were some of the subjects that the speakers and guest judges were advising and empowering the athletes and students at the America's HBCU-RM Clinic.
Superior guest and judges in attendance were Toni Terrell, Program Director of 94.1- WHRP, Princess Ivory, Radio Personality of HOT 103.5, James F. Smith of AllState Insurance, Sandra Brazelton, CEO/Broker of Quali-Tech Properties, Lona Johnson, Financial Director of BBVA Compass Bank, A. Faye Boykin, Author/National Motivational Speaker, Julian Gladness, Lead Designer of Perfect Pixel Graphics, & Huntsville’s own Rocket City Titan Football Champion, David Battle.
Athletes and students were presented with 2011 America's HBCU-RM Achievement Awards.
