Brian Richards -"The True Underdog"

Q: What is your name, what college or university do you attend ?

A: My name is Brian Richards and I attended St. Augustine's University

Q: What is your position on the field ?

A: I play wide receiver, special teams, and tight end

Q: What types of activities do you enjoy in your spare time?

A: Playing video games, watching movies, going out to eat and fishing if I have time.

Q: As a leader how do you get others to follow you when you are in a leadership

role ?

A: I lead by example

Q: What is your work-out routine, how do you keep yourself in shape and competivite on and off the field ?

A: I work out 6 times a week, running routes, catching 100 passes a day and playing 7 on 7 with my friends (when I have time)

Q: What’s your main passion in life?

A: Playing football

Q: What is your strengths and weakness on the field ?

A: Strengths- I have the ability to break tackles and I have big strong hands. Weakness- I sometimes try to hold my team up. I do more than what I'm suppose to do on the field to win.

Q: When other athletes see you on the cover of The Superior Sports Network, what do you want to get from this interview when reading this.

A: I want them to get a look into my life from coming from a small division 2 HBCU school and my process of trying to make it to the league.

Q: How does it feel to be apart of The Superior Sports Network (InSide HBCU Fitness & Style Magazine) Family and being the Ambassador to represent The Superior Sports Network Franchise ?

A: It's an honor and a blessing

Q: Who was the Role-Model In your life, and how has him or her pushed you to be the best man you need to be in life ?

A: My parents. They've been behind me 100%. They have always told me that to do what I wanted and that they would support me no matter what.

Q: A lot of kids look up to you as a role model. Is being a role model something you take pride in?

A: Yes. I love working with kids. I've worked in about 5 different camps with kids.

Q: What is Style to you, how do you keep yourself with the latest style to the next level ?

A: Style is something that represents you as a person. I never really follow trends. I just wear what I like.

Q: Tell me about being at this point in your career. Have you accomplished everything you’ve set out to accomplish?

A: I accomplished everything I wanted in college but I'm not done. I'm just getting started but definitely on the right path.

Q: You are known for having one of the more eccentric and outgoing personalities in career. Why do you think you have that reputation?

A: I'm the type of person that everyone likes to be around. I joke a lot and just like to have fun.

Q: If we did a book/movie about you, what would be the title of the book or movie be, will be a drama, action, thriller, or documentary.

A: It would be called "The True Underdog" and it would be a documentary
