KEITH LEWIS - "Adversity Builds Character"

Keith Lewis - Virginia University Lynchburg

On the field I play Cornerback

In my spare time if I’m not trying to perfect my game on the field. I like to watch sports, chill with friends, just live the normal life of a college student. That includes doing my homework too lol.

As a leader I really prefer to lead by example. I can say things to people but most people like you to show them what to do. They believe in action not words. So I lead by example.

My workout routine can get crazy at times. Mostly train 4-5days a week. I’m trying to train more on a pro level now. But it just consists on weights and a lot of cardio. Just hit the main muscles pectorals, biceps, quads, etc.

My main passion in life is my family. Make a better way for them. They are who I’m doing all this for. I love to see my family smile and be happy so I grind to make a way to give them a better life.

I would say my strengths on the field are my man to man cover skills. Also I believe I have good ability to come up on run support which a lot of corners don’t like to do. Weakness I probably rely on my speed a little too much or I might guess a route every now and then. I work on all aspects of my game tho. Can’t get complacent with anything.

I just want them to be inspired. I want people to learn who Keith Lewis is. How hard I worked for everything and hopefully they’re rooting for me.

It feels great to be apart of The Superior Sports Network. It’s really a blessing and a humbling experience. I’m just thankful that you guys gave me the opportunity.

Honestly nobody impacted my life more than my mother. It was other people I looked up to or people who guided me. My father put me in football and after that I did it all for her. I kept pushing and never gave up on my dream because I didn’t want to let her down. We’re almost there now.

Yes I take pride in being a role model. Anyway I can impact a kids life in a positive way is a great opportunity. I’d just want them to know that the road wasn’t easy but keep at it and it will surely be worth the struggle.

Well style is how someone represents themselves. I’m not really the flashy type when it comes to my style. The latest things aren’t a must have but I know how to clean up nice when I need to.

I wouldn’t say I’ve accomplished everything I’ve wanted to but I am very grateful that I am where I am. I’m proud of myself for sure because the road wasn’t easy. It’s been some detours and road blocks but getting signed will make everything worth it.

I like to think of myself as a fun guy lol. I enjoy making people happy. So I’m usually upbeat around people. Pretty easy to get along with. Got a couple jokes here and there.

Man my own book or movie. I would want it to be called Adversity. I love the quote “Adversity Builds Character” and I totally agree. My story might be every genre put into 1 lol. It’s been a long journey for me.
